CAN MARQUéS, MANOR HOUSE MUSEUM
Its rooms display original decorations and give an impressive vision of the lifestyle and private habits of the upper bourgeoisie of Palma around 1900. Since its latest reformation in 1906, its interiors have remained unchanged right up until the present day. A thorough research study and a meticulous restoration process, carried out by several specialised teams, have rehabilitated the floors, paintings, woodwork, wallpapers and much more, to return Can Marqués to the prestige it deserves.

- Technical features
Currently it is decorated according to early twentieth-century taste. The furniture has been provided by restoring original objects, as well as acquiring pieces that fit the descriptions of the latest inventory performed in 1965. Narrative panels inform visitors of the functions of each different interior and the interesting aspects of daily life back then. Contemporary art pieces complement what is a unique exhibition space in Mallorca.
